Can I get GeoQpons on my phone?
GeoQpons is currently available for iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones, Blackberry and Nokia devices sold in the U.S. You can download the application in the respective mobile app stores: iTunes App Store, Android Market, Blackberry App World, and Ovi Store. More platforms are expected. Please follow-us on Twitter or become a Facebook Fan to stay apprised of new devices and platforms.
How do I redeem mobile coupons on my phone?
Coupons are redeemed by showing the coupon image on the phone to the store cashier. If there is a coupon code, then the cashier will need to enter the coupon code at the time of sale. You can also print the coupon using the email feature, and present the printed coupon to the cashier.
What is a GeoCode?
A GeoCode is a unique, personal code that allows you receive money for recruiting your favorite local retailers and restaurants to publish offers on GeoQpons. After obtaining your code using the app, ask your favorite local businesses to sign up with GeoQpons using your unique GeoCode. The business receives a $10 discount and you get two things: a $10 Amazon gift card and great deals from your favorite local business on your favorite shopping app: GeoQpons.
As a business owner, how do I use a GeoCode?
To receive a discount using a GeoCode, please enter the Code during the payment / checkout process. After you select your subscription length, there is a box where you can enter the GeoCode. On the following page, the discount will be applied. If you have any issues, please email us at support@geoqpons.com.
Please note that you are eligible only once to get the $10 discount using a GeoCode.
Will businesses accept the coupon on my mobile phone?
We offer coupons that are published by businesses themselves or via coupons publishers. Although we expect the majority of businesses to accept mobile coupons, we cannot guarantee it. Mobile couponing is growing in popularity because it delivers many benefits as it saves time and money for both consumers and businesses and it's better for the environment.
What are Brands/Retail Coupons?
Brands/Retail coupons are offered by the national retail chains and department stores. When you start the application, you will find these coupons under the Brands/Retail tab. Some of the Brands/Retail coupons are valid for in-store purchases while others are valid for online purchases.
How do I access Local Coupons?
By selecting the "Local Stores" tab at the bottom of the screen, you will get the list of local stores/businesses and the coupons available for each store. To view coupons for a store, click on the store name. Within the "Local Stores" screen, you have several options that you can choose from:
* Filter by clicking the Category button on the top right or by using "Select Category" under menu options. Selected categories are highlighted.
* Set location and distance by selecting the arrow button on the top left or by using menu button.
* Search for a store by pressing the menu key and selecting "Search".
* Refresh store data and coupons by selecting refresh button.
How do I use Favorite Coupons?
You can save specific coupons and stores as Favorites to help you identify offers of interest and to expedite the checkout process while in the store. To add to Favorites, simply highlight the STAR button on the right side of the screen next to your store listing or coupon listing. To remove from Favorites, simply press the STAR button again to un-highlight.
To access your Favorites easily, you can press the "My Favorites" tab on the bottom of the screen. This will take you to a screen where there are 3 categories of Favorites to choose from: Coupons, Stores, and Most Popular. Try it out today.
What if I see no coupons or a blank page?
Local or Brands coupons can be refreshed by clicking on the refresh button on Local or Brands Coupons main page. If the coupon image is not found or the coupon list is empty, you should refresh coupons. Also, you may have narrowed your search to finely (either by category or distance). Select the category button or the arrow button to change your settings. Then, hit the refresh button to bring up more selections.
How do I zoom in on a coupon image?
Standard picture zoom controls can be used to enlarge the coupon image on the phone.
Why are there no coupons in my location?
GeoQpons aggregates coupons from major publishers across the U.S. as well as local merchants directly. If you do not see local coupons and offers, please try one of the following approaches:
1. Press [ARROW button] and expand the geographic range of your search.
2. Press [Category] to ensure you have selected [ALL].
3. Press [Refresh] to refresh the search.
If you still do not see content, please check back frequently. We update the content and local offers daily. The best thing to do is simply ask your local merchant to contact us, and we'll get them set up.
Is GeoQpons US-only?
Yes, for now. We plan on rolling out to other countries as soon as possible.
